Project profile

Prescott College Southern | Adelaide, Australia

To align with the schools’ values, Prescott College Southern began a refurbishment project for the Private Foundation Year 12 Well-being Centre with the intention of creating a space that would facilitate excellence in a caring and safe environment.
When establishing the goal and requirements, Furnware representative, Nathan Brown, worked closely with the school to ensure the end result would meet the needs of the school. The spaces required included staff offices, a breakout space, a student calming room and a student counselling room.

The well-being centre was to serve three main purposes:

  • To be a collaborative space where the school chaplains and counsellors would work together to support the students more effectively.
  • Offer a tranquil space for students to unwind and take a break from the busy campus environment.
  • Provide a private setting where students can seek counselling for any personal or academic challenges they face.

“The centre has become a vital part of ensuring that everyone on our campus feels supported and has a peaceful place to turn when needed.”

Nigel Peterson – Principal, Prescott College Southern

With the use of Furnware’s 3D app, Nathan was able to collaborate with the Principal on different furniture, fabrics and colours to give the space a truly calming feeling. The app allows the school to see the products, to scale, in their space, which helps bring them to a conclusion on the best products for the space.

“Both staff and students are looking forward to enjoying the space and are loving the new, vibrant pieces we provided.”
