Arc-form ottoman for creative seating arrangements in learning spaces

The Base Curve Ottoman is designed for schools that want soft seating with genuine spatial flexibility. Its curved arc form means that multiple units can be arranged in a wide variety of configurations, from simple linear runs along walls and around tables to circular groupings around a central pillar or round table and looser looping arrangements across open classroom and library floor areas. This makes it one of the most layout-flexible pieces in the Base Modular Range.

Two sizes give schools further options when planning spaces. The small size, at 1460 mm wide and 500 mm deep, suits tighter spaces and younger students. The large size, at 1800 mm wide and 700 mm deep, suits senior students and larger open areas. Both sizes are available in three heights, 360 mm, 410 mm and 460 mm, and both are fully modular with other Base Modular Range soft seating pieces. Optional castors, including two braked castors, allow individual units to be repositioned easily when layouts need to change.

Built on 89 mm Silver Star powder-coated steel legs with a high-quality, high-density elephant foam seat, the Base Curve Ottoman is designed for long-term use in busy education environments. Upholstery options across vinyl, textile and the Ako fabric range, crafted in collaboration with Hawke’s Bay Maori artist Jacob Scott, support colour coordination with other Base pieces and with the wider learning space.
