The new Bodyfurn Lab Stool with Backrest allows students to shift their weight or turn to face a neighbour without losing support, since the seat and back move independently. This can help reduce fidgeting during practical lessons, group discussions or longer periods of desk-based work.
Paired with a 900mm high work surface such as the Endeavour Table, Base Curve Table or Base Rectangle Table, the stool suits tiered seating layouts, lecture-style teaching and staff or common room settings, where students and staff often work at a raised height for short or extended periods.
Built with a powder-coated steel sled base and a moulded, ventilated seat and back shell, the stool is designed for high-use school environments. It is available in one size, suited to senior height ranges, with seven shell colours and an optional black padded seat.
