The Base D Ottoman is a versatile modular seating piece designed to complement and complete Base collection configurations in classrooms, libraries, receptions and breakout spaces. Its distinctive D shape connects to the ends of Base couches and ottomans to create cohesive seating arrangements, or works equally well as a standalone seat for one or two students.
The Base D Ottoman is designed to work with the wider Base Modular Range, connecting to the ends of Base couches and curved or block ottomans to create larger, cohesive seating arrangements. Its compact D shape makes it a practical finishing piece for group configurations in libraries, common areas, breakout spaces and learning hubs.
Used on its own, the Base D Ottoman provides comfortable informal seating for one or two students. Two units placed together create a rounded oval formation, well suited to small group discussion or collaborative tasks. The generous high-density foam seat supports comfortable sitting during group activities and unstructured learning time.
Available in three heights to suit a range of age groups, and upholstered in a wide selection of vinyls and textiles, the Base D Ottoman can be colour-coordinated across a space or used to add a bold accent to a neutral environment. Optional braked castors allow units to be repositioned easily to suit changing layouts.

The Base D Ottoman is not designed for stacking. Optional braked castors support easy repositioning within a learning space. When not in use, units can be moved to the perimeter of the room or stored in an adjacent area to free up floor space.
