The Bodyfurn® Flex range incorporates recycled polypropylene, with the plastic component containing up to 92% post-consumer recycled material. Depending on the product, Bodyfurn® Flex seating is between 89–92% recyclable, with additional material suitable for downcycling.
Recommended seat and table heights vary based on student age, activity type and classroom use. As a general guide, senior students typically use a seat height of around 460 mm with a table height of approximately 730 mm, while younger students may require seat heights closer to 260 mm with tables around 455 mm high.

Active sitting describes seating that allows small, continuous movement rather than holding the body in one fixed position. In a classroom, a student can lean forward to write, shift back to listen, or turn towards a group without leaving their chair.
Most school chairs hold the body still and don’t allow for natural movement. The Bodyfurn seat and back move with the student, supporting posture while allowing motion. The shell is ventilated, and each size is based on measurements taken from students in real classrooms.

For day-to-day cleaning, use a dry, clean cloth, microfibre cloth or whiteboard eraser. Cloths should be replaced regularly, as pigment build-up can reduce cleaning effectiveness.
For more thorough cleaning, we recommend using Furnware Power Cleaner or a quality liquid whiteboard cleaner. Greasy residue can be removed with warm water and a small amount of mild detergent, followed by rinsing with clean water and drying with a soft cloth.
Avoid household cleaners, as these can damage the writing surface. If marks persist, changing your whiteboard marker brand may help, as whiteboard performance can vary significantly depending on marker quality.
