The Study Nook is designed to give individual students a defined, enclosed workspace within a busy classroom or library. The fixed back and side upstands reduce the visual field to the immediate task area, helping students focus on independent work, reading, writing or assessment activities with reduced distraction from surrounding movement and activity.
Study Nooks work well positioned along the perimeter of a classroom, in library corners or grouped in a dedicated quiet study zone. They suit a wide range of year levels, from junior primary through to secondary, and are particularly practical in spaces where schools want to provide accessible areas for individual assessment or quiet reading within a shared learning environment.
The desk is constructed from 18 mm MDF with a Fog grey edge and 32 mm round Silver Star powder-coated steel legs. Five desk height options cover sizes 3 through to 7. Optional braked castors on two legs allow Study Nooks to be repositioned while remaining stable during use.
