The Wave Table is a flexible rectangular table with a shaped wave edge, designed for primary and secondary classrooms. Tables can be positioned back to back or end to end to create varied collaborative layouts, and the wave profile adds visual interest while maintaining a generous work surface. Available in six seated heights and a standing height option, with a standard and oversize top.
The Wave Table is a practical classroom table with a distinctive wave profile top that makes it easy to create varied group layouts. When placed back to back, two Wave Tables form a connected double surface with a flowing joined edge. Positioned end to end in a line, they create a continuous snaking work surface suitable for longer collaborative or practical tasks.
The wave profile varies in depth across the table width: at the deepest point the standard top is 600 mm and at the ends it narrows to 540 mm, while the oversize top measures 800 mm at its deepest and 745 mm at the ends. Both sizes are 1200 mm wide. This variation in depth adds visual interest and gives students a sense of defined space within a shared surface.
Six seated height options span the Furnware size 2 to 7 range, making the Wave Table suitable for early years through to secondary classrooms. A standing height option is also available. The table is constructed from an 18 mm MDF top with a Fog grey edge and 32 mm round Silver Star powder-coated steel legs, with optional castors for easy repositioning. An oversize version is available on request.
