Built for hands-on making in secondary technology and STEAM workshops, the Workbench pairs a hardboard and plywood top with a steel frame made to take the knocks of daily classroom use.
Each bench gives students a dedicated place to measure, assemble and finish project work, with room to keep tools and materials close at hand during a lesson.
The two shapes serve different teaching setups.
The rectangular bench offers a longer straight edge for individual and paired tasks, while the octagonal bench lets a small group work around a shared centre and includes a laminated shelf and side panel for storing equipment between classes.
